  • The late Cornelius Bumpus
    ( "Flame Burning" Co Writer) Lead vocals, Sax solo). Of Corny and the Corvettes, Bobby Freeman, Moby Grape, Doobie Brothers, Etta James, Donald Fagen, and Steely Dan ( whew!). Check out his solo albums!
  • William Russ, Jr.
    Lead vocals on "Cookie Jar", "Only Hurt Yourself", and co writer singer of all harmonies on "Lucky", a one- man Take Six- the incomparable!
  • Davey Pattison
    Lead vocals on "Judgement Day", and "Blues for Mother Nature", another dear pal, one of the legendary U.K. soul-rock-blues stylists. He's been around!  On tour in Europe right now- with Robin Trower.
  • Mighty Mike Schermer
    Lead guitar on "Only Hurt Yourself", Dale plays regularly with Mike, did a lot of keys on his CD,  and co wrote a song- "Mama Said".

    One of the greatest bands ever,  Cornelius Bumpus worked with for years. Shared Michael McDonald and Skunk Baxter with the Doobie Bros.

    Another one of the greatest bands ever — Featuring Mic Gillette on brass, and Carmen Grillo on Guitar these days! New CD and DVD out.

    Julian Colbeck's ( Yes, Charlie, Steve Hackett) Keyfax New Media, creating and maintaining websites for the Alan Parson Project, Yamaha Motif and other products, creators of "Twiddly Bits", delicious bite- size midi samples of musical phrases and loops from around the globe, reggae, funk, country, brazil, you name it. Author of the definitive Keyfax omnibus series of synthesizer books.
  • White Album Ensemble
    Since 2003, an eight- to fifteen piece ensemble performing live versions of Beatles albums that the fabs themselves never performed live, beginning with "Rubber Soul", through "Revolver", St Peppers", "Magical Mystery Tour", the "White" album, and soon, "Abbey Road", "The Singles' and a June 2006 concert slated with the Santa Cruz Symphony! They use Sitar, Tabla, Dilrhuba, string quartets, whatever it takes to get the vibe across of the "Classics of our time"  Features Richard Bryant, Tiran Porter, and  Ken Kraft- who are all on "A Peace of My Mind", and a herd of other equally talented eccentrics. Have raised over 20,000$ for local music in schools, and non violence causes, such as Guitars, not Guns, and Adopt a Minefield.

    Saw a video of this guy performing "While my Guitar Gently Weeps" on ukulele, ripped my heart out, an amazing talent!

    a great organization, Paul McCartneys' favored charity, cleaning up a horrible mistake of humanity.

  • Guitars Not Guns
    a non violent organization dedicated to helping troubled youth with music lessons and instruments. Helped by Los Lobos, Third Eye blind, and the White Album Ensemble.
  • Jeff Beck
    Perhaps the most innovative electric guitarist, since the Yardbirds in the early sixties, a favorite, inspiring and influential to all, to say the least!
  • The discography of Nicky Hopkins
    One of the most influential Rock keyboardists of all time. From the Beatles, Stones, Kinks, Who, Jeff Beck Group, he's the Man. I replaced him in Quicksilver in '71, got to meet him in '83, he's now gone, but no one has cast such a giant shadow.
